Days come and days go
Life’s way becomes apparent
Hours can seem to be slow
When holding babies as a parent
Yet on we go day by day
Living in love and life
Hard times left by the way
Good times become rife
Giving up early robs us
Of the beauty life brings
After the struggle and fuss
Leaves us on windy wings
Only the good remains
Grace allowed to abound
Letting go of the pains
Leaving only love all around
Today I see the result of love
Grace has won drying all tears
The Spirit of God like a dove
Living in you for fifty years
